painting with light:
Today we did some light painting in the media studio. I experimented using the manual focus and the shutter speed using longer shutter speeds to create an image using light from my phone. Also I added different color filters over the light to experiment with different images.
I learnt that light exposure is the amount of light per unit area which is determined by the shutter speeds, lens aperture and also scene luminance or the ISO which is all about the sensitivity. If the ISO is low then the sensitivity is low and the lower the light. Mainly higher ISO is used at night time as the sensitivity is quite high. |

Filling the frame:
In this lesson I learnt how to fill my frame through the use of repetition and how to compose a shot and make it as interesting as possible. Also I learnt how to draw attention to the certain part of my frame and how to draw eyes on there. We went to the art room to use the art supplies, I liked to use of repetition in the paint brushes and shells and I liked the use of different patterns and colors to fill the frame and see different perspectives.

studio-high key:
when taking the high key photos we had to ensure the lighting was placed correctly so that there are no shadows casting on the model's faces or on the white background so we had to organize the lights and position them in a correct order. Another factor we had to consider was the positioning of the model since we needed to fill the frame.
